POLARIZED LENSES (PP10) The PP10 lens material is made of high quality base materials that are laminated to exacting optical standards, providing uniform thickness, shatter resistance and clarity. PP10 polarized lenses are made up of seven functional elements, meticulously bonded together, with a highly efficient polarizing light filter at their centre. This filter is unique, in that it selectively absorbs horizontal reflected glare, which in turn enhances contrast, and provides a more accurate reading of the viewed area by removing blinding glare. This is of particular benefit to the wearer, as it occurs instantly and automatically, meaning the eye can see deeper into the water and spot previously invisible fish and features with ease even under the brightest of conditions.
TEMPLE TIPS & BRIDGE Many of the models feature silicone temple tips and nose bridges for optimum comfort. The specially treated natural silicone material is non-toxic and anti-allergic, also it’s anti slip properties ensure that the glasses give comfortable yet secure fit.
ADVANCED FRAME MATERIAL Shimano have used hi-tech materials such as Grilamid to ensure that the frames of the eye protection range offer maximum performance. Grilamid, a rugged, resilient material has been specially formulated for flex and impact strength, which in practice means that the frames are both comfortable to wear, yet tough enough to cope with the rigours of outdoor use.
LENS CLEANING BAG All models come complete with a soft drawstring carry case that doubles as a lens cleaning cloth.
